Joining Derwent Bowmen
If you are not already an Archer then you will need to take the beginners course before you will be able to join Derwent Bowmen. The beginners course page has full details on what we teach and how to register.
If you are already an Archer then please use the contact form to get in touch and we will send you the membership forms to complete.
Our fees are shown below and are payable annually in July. There are no other charges for using the club or it’s equipment, except for the hire of bows, which newly qualified archers can hire for a few weeks whilst they buy their own bow.
You can download an application form here.
Fees for 2017-2018
It costs £150 per year to be a senior member (adult) of Derwent Bowmen and £41 per year as a Junior (under 18). We have reduced fees for 18-24 year olds, guardians/supervisors (non-shooting members), shooting members, households and long standing members.
We also pro-rata our fees for new members joining part way through the year. It is possible to pay your fees in two instalments.
Fees – New Members
The following fees are for new members and assume you have completed a beginners course.
If your child is joining as a Junior then you will need to join the club either as an Adult/Senior or as a non-shooting Guardian/Supervisor (and take a beginners course if you are not a member of GNAS):
