Ian Wright Memorial Shoot

It was great to see so many archers turn out for Ian’s Memorial shoot.

Blazing sunshine, hoar frost and sub-zero temperatures made for a perfect January day on which to have a shoot. The temperature may have been sub-zero but the atmosphere was anything but with good banter, drinks and lots of home made cakes to be had!

Watched by Ian’s family, a three arrow salute was shot before the start of the Frostbite. They also managed to stay right to the end of the shoot despite the cold.

We will miss Ian very much, he was a real gentleman and loved by everyone who knew him.

The results of the shoot can be found here.

More photos of the shoot are on the club Flickr site.
