To book on to this course\, please go to Sport 80 to book your spot. \nCompound Equipment Selection Set-up and Tuning is an in-person 1 day training event for all coaches. \n  \nEvent summary: \nDate:  Saturday\, 21 September 2024 \nTime:  9am-5pm \nVenue:  Adjacent Gold Close\, Darley Bridge\, Matlock DE4 2LA \nCost:   £82 \n  \nWhat you need to attend:   This event is open to coaches of all levels. \n  \nAbout the module:   This is a hands-on practical workshop for all coaches.  This module supports you to learn correct equipment selection\, set-up and tuning of modern competition compound bows. \n  \nHow to attend:  Once payment has been made for your entry fee\, you will receive a payment confirmation email with the event information. \n  \nIMPORTANT:  Development Coach – Terms & Conditions (Please read before registering for modules) \n  \nEntry Requirements:  Individuals should be aged at least 17 years old by the first day of the course. When carrying out supported practice sessions\, learners who are under the age of 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult. You must hold a current Session Coach or Level 1 Coach Licence\, before starting your Development Coach qualification.  \n  \nDevelopment Coach Module Cancellation Policy:  There is a minimum requirement of eight Learners to make a Development Coach module viable for delivery. In the event that this minimum number is not met\, Archery GB reserves the right to cancel the module. Learners will be notified via email of the cancellation and will be provided with the option of either a full refund or provided with a ‘Transfer Coupon’ to re-register for an alternative module. \n  \nLearner Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations or requests for transfers by Learners within 10 days of a Development Coach module commencing will incur the full cost of the module (£12/£27 for online modules and £82 for in-person workshops). \n  \nPayment of Fees:  All registrations and payments are now made through Sport80.  Our preferred method is for individuals to register and pay directly through Sport80 and claim any funding back through their respective club. The beginners’ course is a foundation in the basics of archery\, from being safe with a bow to learning how to aim and shoot. \n\n\nThis is the requirement for Archery GB and on successful completion of the course you will be given a certificate which will enable you to join any club in Great Britain. \n\nThe course will run:\n7th Oct – 09:30 – 12:30\n15th Oct – 09:30 – 12:30\n22nd Oct – 09:30 – 12:30\n29th Oct – 09:30 – 12:30\nTo complete the course you must complete all 4 sessions and have acquired 12 hours of training.\nAll required equipment and tuition is included.\n\nFor more information please contact: beginners@derwentbowmen.co.uk \nMembers to note: Indoor range closure at these times.
