☀️🏹 Get Involved in the DCAA Summer League – Shoot for the Club! 🏹☀️

The DCAA Summer League is underway, and this is your chance to represent the club throughout the summer season!

Each month features a different round, and members can shoot the featured round at any point during the month before submitting their scores to the league organiser Conor at haveago@derwentbowmen.co.uk

At the end of the month, the best three scores from each bow style will be selected to make up the club’s team entry for that round — so everyone has a chance to contribute, no matter your experience level.

🎯 May’s Featured Round: The Western

This month’s challenge is the Western Round, a classic imperial round that tests consistency and endurance across two distances.

Western Round Details

  • Shot on a 122cm full-face target
  • Uses 5-zone scoring
  • 4 dozen arrows at 60 yards
  • Followed by 4 dozen arrows at 50 yards

Whether you’re aiming for a competitive score, looking to improve your outdoor shooting, or simply want to support the club, we’d love to see as many archers taking part as possible.

Good shooting — and good luck to everyone entering! 🏹
